Body Contouring

Body contouring is a non-surgical process that works to reshape particular areas of the body. It may include processes to remove extra fat, reshape, or contour the area. If you are healthy and active with stubborn areas of fat that are resistant to diet and exercise, you may be a good candidate for body contouring. It can eliminate stubborn fat, shape areas of the body and tighten skin. Body contouring does not usually help you lose weight. Instead, it helps shape the body and address specific areas where weight loss isn't effective or after significant weight loss results in extra skin.

We offer multiple treatment modalities to achieve optimal results using nonsurgical and surgical methods. Non Surgical body contouring is called Lipolysis. There are several lipolysis methods:

  • Cryolipolysis uses precisely controlled cold temperatures to target and destroy fat cells beneath the skin (CoolSculpting)
  • Injection lipolysis dissolves fat cells by putting chemicals (phosphatidylcholine or deoxycholic acid) into the body that target fat cells
  • Laser lipolysis heats and removes fat cells with laser energy using both minimally invasive and noninvasive methods
  • Radiofrequency lipolysis uses radio frequency energy to heat fat from a distance of one centimeter from the skin, breaking it apart and liquefying it so the body can absorb and remove it naturally.
  • HIFEM stands for high-intensity focused electromagnetic technology, a non-surgical body sculpting treatment that uses electromagnetic stimulation to contract muscles. HIFEM can be used to treat areas such as the stomach, buttocks, back, thighs, and arms, and is FDA-approved to treat urinary incontinence in men and women.
